aaall over the place though in the summer because they just make me feel happy!.

You’re probably a bit more patient than I am, so yours will probably look much better than mine. The rubbing alcohol really evaporates so quickly!

Mine was all dry in about an hour and a half!.Whether yours is perfectly beautiful and smooth after it dries, or looks a little…um… interesting, like mine does, the important thing is that it works again!Another one of life’s little annoyances, solved!.

Rubbing alcohol really is some pretty great stuff! If you’re wondering how else to use that bottle you picked up for less than a buck, you can find a few more of my very favorite uses for it.Today’s Easter crafting post has been a long time in the making.

By a long time I mean six years.

Not that this craft takes six years to make, it’s actually more of a 10 minute project, really, but I actually made this Easter topiary six years ago!Just pull off the existing trim and it’s like beginning from scratch with a newly installed window.

This video outlines the full process on a newly installed window. To quickly sharpen your kitchen or crafting scissors, just cut through a piece of sandpaper a few times. An old or slightly used up piece of sandpaper will work just fine, just make sure you wash your scissors with warm, soapy water once you’re done sharpening! For the last six weeks or so, I’ve been touring around with CIL paints and visiting with DIYers at a bunch of different Home Depots to help people get over their “paint paralysis”.

You know what I mean: It’s when you’re terrified to start painting a room for fear of picking the wrong colour and having to do everything all over again. So you just live with a colour you hate instead for years and years.
